The End of My Hiatus

I had surgery on my wrist last month. The fact that I had a cast, as well as really sore muscles, means that I have officially taken the longest hiatus ever from writing. I haven’t been writing any blog posts. My mind and my time have both been taken over by school. I also haven’t been writing stories or continuing my book. (Thankfully, NaNoWriMo is coming up.) I feel like the worst and most unfaithful blogger/writer ever.

Since my first blogoversary is coming up next month, I want to start posting again to remind myself why I started this blog in the first place: for the love of books. I truly love connecting with other bloggers and readers. (Please comment! I would love to follow you on Instagram or Twitter.) I have been doing more connecting through Instagram lately, but I really want to follow more blogs and meet more people that enjoy reading.

Although I haven’t been posting as much, I have been reading a lot, so I have a lot of review material stored in my head right now. I have new posts planned and it’s time to start drafting.

If you’re reading this, thanks for sticking around or for visiting my blog for the first time.

Rebekah Rendon

I am an 18 year old university student and an avid reader from New Mexico, USA. I love to buy books, wear out my library card, and wear out my eyes reading. I am a reader, a writer, a baker, a photographer, a pianist, a Ravenclaw, a Whovian, a Christian, and an avid television watcher. I am a fan of most genres, though I tend to stick to fiction. If you found your way to my blog I hope that you too like to read and that you find my reviews and other posts informative.
